ABOUT ARTIST

Roni Kwan is a passionate, Hong Kong artist working predominantly through sculpture, installation and media animation. Throughout Roni’s practices, she regularly tackles complex concepts between identity, perspectives and nature destruction, applies to an interdisciplinary fine art practice. With the background of psychology, Roni gives close observation and demonstrates an enthusiasm to work with different mediums and techniques, her works indicate an embodies approach to art making. Roni’s critical making and contemporary concepts brought her to become one of the publishing artists on UNSW Framework and Art Week 2019. She participated in two art exhibitions held in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
